联邦熟练技工类 (FST) 类别
加拿大移民部2013新政正式开始实施，1月2日正式开始接受“熟练技工”（Skilled Tradesperson）计划下的移民申请。
共43个职业类别，其中全国职业分类（NOC）A类17个，B类26个。具体行业涵盖石油、天然气、建筑、木工、伐木、电力、电信、化工、机械、矿业、五金、电焊、管道、重型机械、暖通、铁路、飞机修配、井下矿工等。

年度配额：3,000人。其中 A类职业类别申请每年限制在100人；B类不设具体上限。
申请条件：

必须已获加国雇主聘用，或获得加拿大某个省/区发出的相关资格证书，以确保申请人一旦获准抵步，即可投入工作；

申请人必须具备基本的英语或法语能力（英语要求：听、说CLB-5；读、写CLB-4）；

过去五年内至少要有两年相关技工的工作经验；

拥有符合NOC相应职业类别所描述的技能及工作经验。
